1941年、東京生まれ
大阪で育ち、神戸の大学を出た後、40年近く商社の経理、監査部門に勤務。この間、ギリシャとパナマにそれぞれ4年駐在。
2003年6月に商社を退職後は、銀座に本社のある美容室チェーンの会社で経理を担当した後、現在は無職。
Born in Tokyo, 1941;
Grown up in Osaka, after graduating a university in Kobe, worked for nearly
40 years as an accountant and as an internal auditor of a trading house;
During this period, posted to the offices in Greece and in Panama for 4
years respectively:
After retiring the tradeing house in June 2003, worked for a company as
an accounting manager which runs a nationwide chain of beauty parlors with
its head office in Ginza. currently without occupation.
ギリシャ滞在中、日本では池田満寿夫が「エーゲ海に捧ぐ」で芥川賞（１９７７年、映画化は１９７９年）、ジュディ・オングが「魅せられて」でレコード大賞を受け、ギリシャブームとなる。
この連想で、パナマも私が居る間に注目を浴びるようになると期待した。結果的にはノリエガ政権に対する米軍のパナマ侵攻（１９８９年）で、パナマは世界の注目を浴びた。
While I was in Greece, Masuo Ikeda got the Akutagawa award in 1977 for
his novel "Dedicated to the Aegean" and Judy Ong got the Gran
Prix in 1979 for her singing on the Aegean, attracting many eyes of Japanese
to Greece.
Similarly I expected that Panama would attract the world's eyes while I
stayed there. Yes, it did. US troops invaded Panama in 1989 to oust Manuel
Antonio Noriega, the de facto leader of Panama, attracting many eyes of
the world to Panama.
長女は大学2年のときにさっさと結婚してしまったが、長男はまだ独身。税理士で政治好きの妻と二人暮しの西新宿のアパートは、妻の税理士事務所から目と鼻の先。
While my daughter was married when she was a sophomore of a university,
my son is unmarried yet. My wife is a certified tax accountant who is an enthusiast for politics. Her accountant
office is a few minutes' walk from our apartment house in Nishi-Shinjuku.
